Wonderful
Breakfast was exellent. There is a laundary in hotel, and washing machine can be used for a very small price. Room was good. Hotel is located close to all transport points
Staff only barely speaks english, but anyway they are very friendly and helpful

What was the highlight of Nest&Rise Osaka Namba Hotel
The Rise Namba is fantastic! Location is perfect. Staff is lovely (no english). Rooms can be tiny.
I loved my experience at this hotel! You will need to speak a little bit of japanese because the staff doesn't speak much english, but they are very lovely and helpful. The location is very favourable, close to Daikokucho, Ebisucho and Shin-Imamiya stations respectively, all of them a 5-7 minutes walk. Only a beautiful 20 minutes walk to Dotonbori! Or 10 minutes to Namba Parks. You can rent a bike just outside the hotel. Staff has so much amenities to offer, I used their umbrella's often and also their charger. There is a nice rooftop bar with cheap unlimited drinks and a great view. Konbini is right across the street and it has an ATM. Dendentown and Shinsekai (Tsutenkaku) and Tennoji zoo are all 10-20 minute walks. I loved my 10 day stay here and would recommend it to solo/duo travelers. The only downside is that the rooms are tiny. I had 2 bags and they already filled the entire room. But i was solo so it wasn't a problem. If you're solo or with a partner, come to this hotel!

Comfortable but small room, good base for exploring Osaka
Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Good bathtub with plenty of hot water. Decent laundry area. Good selection of free items like coffee, tea, hairbrushes, etc. Vending machines with hot and cold drinks.
From our room you could hear the train passing several times an hour. The breakfast wasn't to our taste. Early check in cost of ¥1,000/hour seems unreasonable. Had a lot of trouble with our keycards not working, had to visit the front desk 3 times to get new keycards.
